Types of readings at the SoulWorks Fair.

Tarot Reading (using traditional or nontraditional cards): Tarot is one of the oldest forms of psychic readings known to man. Depending on your question, the reader will lay out the cards to show what you need to know. The purpose of a tarot reading is to help you see your past and present and possible future thoughts, words, and behaviors more objectively. This sort of understanding can make you more aware of the potential results of your present thoughts, words, and behaviors. Remember that what you think, say, and do today help to create tomorrow.

Oracle Card reading; Oracle cards are decks of cards, each with a different message, sometimes portrayed with images, sometimes with words and often with both. These cards act as the messenger, relay what you need to know about a situation or guidance in moving forward. Oracle Cards can be Angel Cards, Unicorn Cards, Fairy Cards, Love Cards, Seashell and Flower cards. The list is endless. What you will get with an Oracle card reading is practically the same as tarot. The purpose is to gently guide, protect and help us on our journey through life, exploring oneself and divining the future. If you find Tarot cards readings and the images intimidating and “scary” than an oracle card reading with its gentler images is for you.

Medium Readings: A medium reading is having a communication with those who have crossed over. Though psychic mediums do the same kind of work, they each bring their own style and flare to their readings. Some readers give lots of details that may include first names and dates, and others can almost step into the personality of your loved ones in heaven. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that your loved one in heaven will come through during your session. Typically they will, but there is never a guarantee. Tip: If you are planning to have a reading, think about your loved one before your appointment. A few days prior, imagine telling your loved one that you want them to be at the appointment too.

Psychometry Reading: Psychometry is a psychic ability in which a person can sense or "read" the history of an object by touching it. The reader can receive impressions from an object by holding it in his/her hands or, perhaps, touching it to the forehead. Such impressions can be perceived as images, sounds, even smells. This is a nice and helpful way to get an easier link with someone, living or dead. In this reading the energy of a person is linked through anything that was worn or touched only by the person who you need a reading for. Note: In order to get the best and most accurate readings it is best to have an object only worn by person who you are getting the reading for; this will prevent the reader from sensing things from different people.

Intuitive Readings: intuitive readings are different for everyone. Depending on the person conducting the reading, the focus can be on anything from releasing blocked energy and past trauma, tapping into past lives, working through a current hardship, or helping a client to activate their highest potential and life work. As the name implies, the sessions are usually led intuitively for some, intuitive readings can feel like a “talk therapy” session. For others (especially those who are highly sensitive to energies) it can feel like having psychic surgery. It all depends on what the client and intuitive reader intend for the session. Most intuitive readings provide in-depth information about a person’s soul journey and life path. Intuitive readings help provide clarity on life purpose or karmic cycles. Intuitive readings are different from psychic readings. Most intuitive readers do not read the future, but rather read a person’s individual energy (a subtle distinction)

Psychic Reading: A Psychic reading is the refined use of intuition. It is more active and precise. Psychic insight requires you to focus your intuition without the distracting clutter of random thoughts. In a psychic reading the reader accesses the subtle world of spirit and the inner psyche to retrieve information that can be perceived by the conscious mind. It is a method that can bring clarity and answers to complicated issues in life that may be eluding the client, providing a key to inner wisdom. In this type of reading you will be able to get in tune with reality, get an overview of circumstances, and connect more powerfully to life, in a motivated, positive, and ”in the present moment” kind of way.

Akashic Records Reading: The Akashic Records are an energetic imprint of every thought, action, emotion, and experience that has ever occurred in time and space, and one of the most powerful tools available on the planet today. Energy Healing Sessions: Energy healing is an alternative holistic therapy that encompasses the whole body, mind, and spirit. Energy Healing clears the blocked emotional energy and negative thought energy that has become so common for people. It is what we commonly refer to as stress. Energy healing releases people from the emotional energy of their past, cleans up their mental states and repairs the entire energy system. Energy Healing gives power to our life force and vibrational tone so we are a powerful instrument in attracting what is good and wanted into our lives.

Chakra Balancing: In your chakra clearing and balancing session I use the Crystal Singing Bowls and other healing modalities.The sound and vibration of the crystal bowls open, clear, and balance the chakras, moving the heavy and chaotic energy attached to these energetic and physical bodies that causes blockages. The healing frequencies travel through the body and chakras restoring the free flow of vital energy. In a healing session, clients can experience a deep relaxation, peace and calmness which naturally assist in stress reduction, meditation and holistic healing that having cleared and balances chakras can bring.

Past Life Readings: A Past Life Reading is when a person is able to see spiritually, looks into your past lives and provides information to you about them. The past lives emphasized during the reading are relevant to your current life and help you make sense of present time experiences and beliefs. How you use the knowledge of a past life depends on you. Some people adjust their energy fields, shift beliefs and release old patterns during the reading. Others take time to integrate the information. So changes take longer. For some this happens unconsciously and for others it is a conscious exercise. Empathic Readings: Empathy is the ability to read and understand people & be in-tune with or resonate with others, voluntarily or involuntarily of one's Empath capacity. Medical Intuitive Readings: Medical Intuition is the process of scanning the body organs, system by system, the energy chakras, and the auric field for indications of dysfunction, energetic congestion, allergy, or dis-ease. An intuitive medical scan can identify changes in the cells of a body organ well before it comes into the client's awareness. Even after a medical diagnosis by a physician has been made, additional factors can 'surface' through an intuitive reading that when addressed can help turn things around.

This process compares the lines, patterns and formations across the hands to make judgments about the person's future or general nature.

Pendulum Reading: The pendulum can be thought of as an extension of the intuition, since it is used to gain access to information that exists at the subconscious level of the Inner Being. It could be said that it strengthens or amplifies the intuition because it converts the subtleties of the intuition into a more obvious form of physical motion. When you ask a question of the pendulum, it is your own intuition that answers it. The pendulum merely allows you to physically see what the intuition already knows. As an extension of the intuition, the pendulum can give you information from the same two sources as the intuition: from your own subconscious mind; and from your guidance, spirit, or guardian angel. Because of how it operates, the pendulum can only answer questions that are phrased so that the answer is either "yes" or "no".
